Customer Service Adviser - Slough: The Customer Services Advisor provides first line support to customers through direct customer contact over the telephone, via webchat and team mailboxes. The Customer Service Advisor is responsible for documenting customer contact details, queries and resolutions and other pertinent information in relation to the customer interaction in all the relevant computer-based system(s).

Job Description
- Answering inbound telephone calls
* Dealing with circa 100 calls a day and a busy chat channel and email channel* Take orders for products and process using Microsoft NAV
- Manage and resolve customer complaints
- Respond promptly to customer queries and needs, following up customer calls where necessary
- Liaise with the Warehouse staff and couriers to ensure orders are dispatched before set deadlines
- Process credit/debit card payments for non-credit account customers
- Send out invoices in a prompt and timely manner
- Prepare new customer accounts
- Promote and sell company products and services, maximizing value of orders
- Contact customers by phone, in line with agreed call lists
- Complete records of telephone interactions, orders and accounts

- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Good written English skills, able to write accurate emails without the use of templates
- Understanding of Customer Service and its importance in business profit and efficiency

Qualifications/Experience Required:
Customer service experience required- Educated to GCSE level C or equivalent
- Good understanding of Word/Outlook/Excel
