Job Description
The Production Operative will be responsible for manufacturing, packaging and labeling products including liquids, capsules, powder blends, creams and more. The chosen candidate will also assist in warehouse operations, helping process deliveries and monitoring stock levels, for example.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work as part of a small team to produce a wide range of products - full training will be provided
- Follow work instructions and procedures for any given task - attention to detail is vital
- Wear appropriate PPE (provided)
- Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
- Label products for sale or storage
- Assist in the warehouse operations such as receiving deliveries and processing raw ingredients and re-stocking shelves with new products
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager that may be required such as cleaning or production areas
- Must be able to lift and handle bags and boxes of upto 25kg in weight
Desirable Skills
- As a small team we value flexibility and a 'can do' attitude, clear communication, problem solving skills and enthusiasm for our work
- Although not a core part of this role, customer service experience would be helpful
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows based computers and SAGE Accounts software would be advantageous
- Forklift license
- First aid training (or willingness to be trained)
- We occasionally attend festivals and trade events, a willingness to help with these would be ideal

Hours, Pay & Holiday
- 42.5hrs per week, full time, permanent including 1hr paid breaks per day
- Based at Unit 3B, Enterprise Way, Whitby
- Starting rate of pay £10.90/hr
- 28 days holidays including Bank Holidays and Christmas shutdown
